Richmond Building University of Bradford
Construction Dynamics carried out extensive construction and refurbishment works to the Richmond Building at The University of Bradford during the summer break in 2023. The project consisted of initial extensive demolition works including removal of the original bank/pay zone. Complete mechanical and electrical instal to re-configure the area for its new use. Feature acoustic installations, replacement curtain walling, floor tiling to tie in with the existing, carpets and decoration throughout. Works were carried out over a 12 week period during the summer close down, working around restricted key non working dates for graduations, clearing and such like.







Joseph Priestley Building – 01 Study Space
In 2024, Construction Dynamics successfully delivered a £715k transformation of the Joseph Priestley Building study space at the University of Bradford. Acting as Principal Contractor, they created a modern, light-filled environment for collaborative and individual study. The project involved extensive strip-out, structural repairs, new DDA toilet, bespoke glazed rooms, acoustic ceilings, and exposed services. Sustainability was prioritised by retaining and upgrading existing elements and using local subcontractors. The result is a vibrant, student-approved space praised for its functionality and design.




Richmond Building Costa
In 2024, Construction Dynamics completed a £60k light refurbishment of the University of Bradford’s coffee and street food shop over a tight 4-week Christmas period. Acting as Principal Contractor, they upgraded the space with a new front and back counter, partition wall, kitchen cabinets, and bespoke Hi-Macs worktops, while optimizing every inch for functionality. Sustainable practices included retaining and refreshing existing flooring and ceiling elements. Despite the holiday timeframe, the project was delivered on schedule and now serves as a vibrant hub for staff and students.



Rippon Road, Supported living scheme
In 2024/2025, Construction Dynamics delivered an £850k supported living scheme in Harrogate for Purpose Social Homes, acting as both Principal Designer and Contractor under a JCT Design & Build contract. After demolishing poor-quality work by a previous contractor, they constructed six self-contained apartments with staff facilities, overcoming the challenges of a tight site. The full turnkey project included all structural, mechanical, electrical, and finishing works. Despite delays from utility providers, the project was completed on time to a high standard, resulting in a fully certified, high-quality building with long-term value for the client.




Rippon Rockwood Crescent – Bespoke house build
In 2022, Construction Dynamics completed a £1.3m bespoke new build home in North Leeds for a private client, acting as both Principal Designer and Contractor. The project replaced the client’s previous house with their dream forever home, featuring a fully waterproofed basement with luxury amenities, an expansive open-plan ground floor, and a first floor with five bedrooms, including a vaulted-ceiling master suite with balcony. The home is fully integrated with smart technology throughout. Despite numerous client-led changes during construction, the project was delivered to full satisfaction.




Sesame Fine Foods Ltd
In 2024, Construction Dynamics delivered a £370k Design & Build project for Sesame’s third location in the prestigious Wellington Place, Leeds. Working closely with This Is Interiors, they created a vibrant, high-end salad and sandwich bar featuring a fully equipped commercial kitchen, bespoke joinery, and extensive M&E installations. Despite changes during the build, the project was completed on time and within budget. Sustainability was prioritised through local sourcing and waste recycling. The finished space is a popular success, attracting steady footfall from nearby office workers.




Student Central
In 2024, Construction Dynamics successfully completed a £1.4m refurbishment of the University of Bradford’s Student Central building, transforming a dated, underused area into a vibrant, multifunctional student hub. Working with Sycamore Square Group and Stephen George and Partners, the 14-week project introduced lively social zones, collaborative spaces, a refurbished bar, and a new commercial kitchen, with a strong focus on lighting, acoustics, and high-end finishes. Sustainability was key, with reuse of materials and local subcontractors prioritised. Delivered on time despite scope changes, the space is now a popular and well-used part of campus life.




Horton D Computer Suite
In 2024, Construction Dynamics completed a 12-week refurbishment of the Horton Computer Suite at the University of Bradford, following previous successful projects on campus. The £ value isn’t specified here but the project transformed a dated, uninspiring space into a bright, accessible, and engaging environment with fully glazed areas and upgraded M&E systems. Works included partitioning, asbestos removal, bespoke joinery, new ceilings, flooring, and decorative finishes. Sustainability was prioritized through local sourcing and high recycling rates. Delivered on time and within budget, the refreshed suite has received excellent feedback from students.



Hollins Hill Farm
Construction Dynamics were brought in by client Purico in 2020/2021 to recover a £400k project in Dovestone, Oldham, UK, after it was left in poor condition by a previous contractor. The works involved extensive internal and external renovations, including structural alterations, full mechanical and electrical systems, plastering, joinery, kitchen installation, and landscaping. Despite initial challenges, the property was successfully transformed into a fully compliant and tenanted residence, with the team taking pride in turning around such a complex project.
