Construction Dynamics was proud to support the recent Harrogate Neighbours Charity Golf Day at Wike Ridge Golf Club, helping to raise an impressive £2,500 for the charity’s volunteer-led Meals on Wheels service.
Organised by Harrogate Neighbours in partnership with BNI Network Central, the event brought together ten teams from businesses across Yorkshire and Harrogate for a day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising. More importantly, the money raised will help support a vital community service that delivers hot, nutritious meals to older people while also providing valuable social interaction to those who may otherwise experience isolation.
The event highlighted the positive impact that local businesses can have when they come together to support worthwhile causes. Harrogate Neighbours continues to provide essential services that improve the wellbeing of vulnerable members of the community, and the Meals on Wheels programme remains a lifeline for many residents across the region.
Representing Construction Dynamics on the day were Luke Surtees and Jack Trathen, who joined forces with Charlie Galifant and Jamie Adams from JOA Roofing. Following 18 holes of competitive golf and plenty of good-natured rivalry, the team secured a respectable fourth-place finish, narrowly missing out on the top three places.
While the golf was fiercely contested, the real winner was the charity itself. Events such as this demonstrate the power of collaboration between businesses, volunteers and community organisations, all working towards a common goal of supporting those who need it most.
At Construction Dynamics, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we work and are always pleased to be involved in initiatives that make a genuine difference. Whether through charitable fundraising, community engagement or supporting local causes, we believe businesses have an important role to play beyond the projects they deliver.
We would like to thank the organisers, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who participated in making the day such a success. Most importantly, congratulations to Harrogate Neighbours for the incredible work they continue to undertake across the region and for organising another fantastic fundraising event.
